Prepare your property review

A simple photo checklist.

FAS prepares your demo from your photos. Please send them before the demo so the proposed work can be prepared. A phone camera is enough; you do not need professional photos or measurements.

1. Stand at each of the four outside corners of the house. From each corner, take a wide photo at ground level that shows the walls, roof edge, downspouts and yard near that corner.
2. Use the normal (1×) or wide (0.5×) camera setting on your phone. Please do not use fisheye, panorama or distortion effects.
3. Let neighboring photos overlap, so the same downspouts, doors, fences or trees appear in more than one picture.
4. Photograph each affected area: where water stands, enters, runs or washes soil away. Photos taken during or soon after rain help.
5. Videos are optional. The request form uploads photos only. To share existing clips of water moving or standing after rain, paste a sharing link from your phone or cloud storage into the form’s video link field. Stay on the ground and take new photos or videos only when conditions are safe.

Upload your photos with the request form. FAS needs them before preparing the demo. If a photo will not upload, say so in your request and Martha can talk through how to send it when she calls.

Photos help FAS prepare the proposed work and an initial quote. They are not a survey. Levels, routes, outlets and any pump need are checked on site before you approve the final work and price.

Describe the affected area, the rain conditions that cause the problem and anything you have already tried. You do not need to know which drain or repair is needed.

What happens after the demo?

If you choose to proceed with the initial proposal, you pay 5% of the project total to arrange on-site verification. FAS checks levels, routes, the outlet, the drain type and any pump need, and any changed scope or price comes back for your approval. The dollars you paid are credited toward your project and included in the total one-third installation deposit, even if the price changes.

No payment is taken with this request. An appointment is confirmed separately. Martha confirms the appropriate service, any fee and the arrangements with you.
